Added in a Content Manager OnDemand Fixpack for version 9.5, the CMOD Cloud Storage options offer the ability to expand OnDemand simply, easily, and at a lower price point than self-hosting options with IBM Spectrum Protect (formerly Tivoli Storage Manager), which historically was the only way to gain access to massive near-line storage with built-in backups and disaster recovery.
Included in this educational CMOD course is a brief review of the various options, a brief comparison, and a demonstration of configuring CMOD to utilize Cloud Storage, and discussion of implementing SSL on CMOD to ensure your data is kept secure in transit to the cloud.
